दिल्ली की हवा में सांस लेने वाले रोजाना पी रहे 25-30 सिगरेट
Delhi Air Pollution: दिल्ली में वायु प्रदूषण अपने चरम पर पहुंच चुका है। एक्यूआई 504 पर है और इसकी श्रेणी बेहद गंभीर में पहुंच चुकी है। दिल्ली में ग्रेप-3 को भी बीते दिनों लागू कर दिया गया था। बावजूद दिल्ली में प्रदूषण थमने का नाम नहीं ले रही है। इस बीच दिल्ली सरकार में पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने केंद्रीय मंत्री भूपेंद्र यादव को एक पत्र लिखा है। भूपेंद्र यादव को पत्र लिखकर गोपाल राय ने अनुरोध किया है कि वे पड़ोसी राज्यों से दिल्ली में बीएस 4 मानदंडों का पालन न करने वाले वाहनों के प्रवेश पर प्रभावी ढंग से प्रतिबंध लगाए और एनसीआर में भी ऐसे वाहनों पर प्रतिबंध लगाए।

गोपाल राय ने भूपेंद्र यादव को पत्र लिखकर अनुरोध की है कि वे पड़ोसी राज्यों के पर्यावरण मंत्रियों की एक आपात बैठक बुलाएं। वहीं इस बीच न्यूज एजेंसी एएनआई ने जब वायु प्रदूषण के मुद्दे पर मेदांता अस्पताल के फेंफड़ों के वरिष्ठ विशेषज्ञ डॉ. अरविंद कुमार से बात की तो उन्होंने कहा कि वायु प्रदूषण से सभी आयु वर्ग के लोग प्रतिकूल रूप से प्रभावित होते हैं। उन्होंने कहा, ‘आपको आश्चर्य हो सकता है कि एक अजन्मे बच्चे पर भी इसका प्रभाव पड़ता है, क्योंकि अजन्मा बच्चा सांस नहीं ले रहा लेकिन मां सांस ले रही होती है।’

उन्होंने कहा कि जब मां सांस ले रही है तो हवा में मौजूद विषाक्त पदार्थ उसके फेफड़ों में चले जाते हैं। फेफड़ों के माध्यम से विषाक्त पदार्थ रक्त में चले जाते हैं और नाल के माध्यम से वे बच्चे और भ्रूण तक पहुंच जाते हैं और बच्चे को नुकसान पहुंचाते हैं। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि जब बच्चा पैदा होता है तो वह सांस लेना शुरू कर देता है तो वही हवा सांस लेना शुरू कर देता है। हमारी हवा की गुणवत्ता फिलहाल 450-500 के आसपास है, जो शरीर को नुकसान पहुंचाने के मामले में लगभग 25-30 सिगरेट के बराबर है।
