नेपाल के भूकंप पीड़ितों को अपने साथ हेलीकॉप्टर से अस्पताल ले जाते प्रधानमंत्री प्रचंड।
नेपाल में शुक्रवार की रात आए प्रलयकारी भूकंप में मौतों की संख्या 154 पहुंच चुकी है। वहीं सैकड़ों लोग घायल हैं। नेपाल के प्रधानमंत्री पुष्प कमल दहल प्रचंड ने भूकंप प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का दौरान किया। इस प्रचंड भूकंप में पीड़ितों के लिए प्रधानमंत्री का दिल कमल जैसा कोमल हो गया। उन्होंने काफी घायलों को अपने साथ हेलीकॉप्टर से अस्पताल पहुंचाया। यह देखकर नेपालियों की आंखें भावुकता से डबडबा आईं। प्रधानमंत्री प्रचंड ने घायलों के बेहतर इलाज के लिए अस्पतालों को निर्देषित किया। उन्होंने जाजरकोट से अपने साथ भूकंप में घायल हुए कुछ लोगों को लेकर अपने हेलीकॉप्टर से सुर्खेत के अस्पताल तक पहुंचाया, जहां इन सभी का उपचार किया जा रहा है।
बता दें कि पश्चिमी नेपाल के सुदूर पर्वतीय क्षेत्र में शुक्रवार आधी रात को 6.4 तीव्रता वाले भूकंप के तेज झटकों ने कई इलाकों में भारी तबाही मचाई है। राष्ट्रीय भूकंप निगरानी एवं अनुसंधान केंद्र के अनुसार, भूकंप आधी रात 11 बजकर 47 मिनट पर आया, जिसका केंद्र जाजरकोट जिले में था। भूकंप का असर काठमांडू, इसके आसपास के जिलों और यहां तक कि पड़ोसी देश भारत की राजधानी नयी दिल्ली तक महसूस किया गया। सरकारी ‘नेपाल टेलीविजन’ के अनुसार, पश्चिमी नेपाल के जाजरकोट और रुकुम जिले भूकंप के कारण सबसे अधिक प्रभावित हुए।
भूकंप में लगातार बढ़ रही मृतकों की संख्या
गृह मंत्रालय के अनुसार नहीं लग पाया है कि भूकंप के कारण कितने मकान क्षतिग्रस्त हुए। मगर मृतक संख्या बढ़ने की आशंका है। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि नेपाल के प्रधानमंत्री पुष्पकमल दहल ‘प्रचंड’ शनिवार सुबह एक चिकित्सकीय दल के साथ घटना स्थल रवाना हुए। उन्होंने बताया कि नेपाल सेना और नेपाल पुलिस को बचाव कार्य में लगाया गया है। देश की तीनों सुरक्षा एजेंसियों- नेपाल सेना, नेपाल पुलिस और सशस्त्र पुलिस बल को बचाव कार्य में लगाया गया है। प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय ने सोशल मीडिया मंच ‘एक्स’ पर लिखा, ‘‘प्रधानमंत्री पुष्पकमल दहल ने शुक्रवार रात को आए भूकंप में जान-माल का नुकसान होने पर गहरा शोक प्रकट किया है।
सड़कें और पुल क्षतिग्रस्त होने से बचाव कार्य बाधित
पीएम ने तत्काल राहत एवं बचाव के लिए तीनों सुरक्षा निकायों को तैनात किया है।’’ अधिकारियों ने बताया कि घायलों का सुरखेत जिला अस्पताल में इलाज जारी है। प्रधानमंत्री ने सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को बचाव और राहत कार्य तुरंत करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि सड़कें अवरुद्ध होने और पुल क्षतिग्रस्त होने के कारण घटना स्थल पर बचाव और राहत कार्य बाधित हो गया है। भूकंप के बाद जाजरकोट में चार से अधिक तीव्रता वाले भूकंप बाद के कम से कम चार झटके और आए।
